O ring Thread

I just called the local dealer today and ordered an O ring for the oil drain tube from the air filter to the oil pan on my 300 Turbo. I Think it's time this forum had an O ring thread covering everything that comes along. When someone get's RAPED for $4.75 American for an Oring it's time! When I finish getting pounded (get the part) I'll find out what size and update this post. I also ordered the O ring that is inside the secondary fuel filter and didn't even ask the price of that one. By the way the copper washer on the bolt on top of the secondary filter is a dealer item too. You might want to pick up one or two for the glovebox.

These cars live on O rings. I got my last oil filter shaft rings from OSH for $ .50. I'll post the size when I get my head straight, if I have enough money left for a beer

The oil drain tube (upper and lower) o-ring is the same size as the one on the oil dip stick.

There are some things I miss about CA. OSH is one of them.

Regret to report that OSH has been acquired by Sears and Sawbuck (as my grandpa called them). No ill effects so far and they carry Craftsperson tools now.

An o-ring thread with all of them listed is a great idea, FineOlBenz (why don't you do that). I just paid the dealer $2.50 each for the oil filter shaft o-rings so I'm with you all the way. Be sure to include the size and the factory part number in your list, please.

The oil filter shaft o-rings are 015 997 94 48.

My '85 doesn't have a copper crush washer on the secondary fuel filter bolt, only two o-rings (19x14x2.5mm and 15x11x2mm). Am I missing something?
