Pictorial how to install hand made sheep skin covers.

I just finished up the pictorial on installing the sheep skin covers. This is one project that I am most pleased with the outcome.

Since its so hot here even in the garage, I became dehydrated and don't feel real hot right now. But I had to get it finished for you guys.

Enjoy

No your vision is clear. The coupes have a vacuum pod under the seat to prevent the seat "foward" button from alowing the seat to tilt while the car is in gear.

They look very similar to the ones performance products sell (which are very very nice but very expensive).

The sheepskin i bought from someone on craigslist fit perfecty without having to remove the seat or remove the armrest when i had it on the SD. Now its on my dads 78 300D and still fits perfectly without having to remove the armrest. Although i did have to remove the headrest.

The sheepskin on my 87 300D that i bought at kragen doesnt fit correctly but looks ok. still didnt have to remove the seat or armrest

FWIW, I've bought a couple of sets from Colorado Sheepskin Co. (1-800-392-9665) for about $250 a pair. At the time, I asked them about armrest covers and they told me they would make anything if I gave them the dimensions. I think they are good quality for the price.

Hittin' the skins?

Recommendations for good seat covers?

I've seen Colorado Sheepskin Co. mentioned a few times.

Anyone else have good references? I want a nice pair of real 'skins. Black car w/ black MB-Tex is decidedly uncomfortable in Atlanta.
