Delvac 1 rules!

25 or so miles on currant oil change and its still perfectly clear! I almost can't see it on the dipstick it needs to get dirty! I wanna see how many miles I can go before it turns black. This stuff must really suspend the soot, and it must drain all out.

That's the way to go. I just ordered $150 worth of M1 5W40 (to get free shipping) because I still can't find it locally.

Transwest GMC and Transwest Freightliner sell it. But, that's on the other end of town for you...

If you mean M1 Truck & SUV, it changed to a gasser only oil a few months ago.

Mine still doesn't have it. How much is Walmart charging now? Do they have jugs, or just quarts?

Right, the Truck & SUV is now 5W30, gasser only (plenty at Walmart). I'm talking about the new "Diesel Truck" 5W40.

I buy it from the local MB dealer for $5 a quart. Cost me $57 for 8 quarts, a filter, and tax. Not bad, at all. Plus I get to check out the new stuff.

For some reason, my dealer only has 5W40 in drums, they only seem to sell 0Wxx in quarts.

None of the local auto parts places seem to have it either.

Look in the Yellow Pages under Oil Distributors. I bet one of them will sell it over the counter in case lots.

I'm good for a little while because I just ordered 22 quarts. Hopefully it will be available locally (at a better price) before I run out again.

Well I think they keep some around just becuase me and my friend buy it off them. Originaly they only had a case, but thats what 6 gallons? Long ago my friend and I would have exhuasted that. So I think they keep some around because they use it once in awhile, and my friend and I are good for a case or two a year.
