Please pass the scan along. That sounds like a great deal.

Thanks,

I'll garuantee our local Pep Boys pulls all their MB filters and puts them in the storage room. I am pretty sure they did that the last time this sale was going on, because I went in the day the sale started and every one was gone, and they had already placed these little "out of stock" signs where they were.

Hey techguy, where in Austin can you find MB filters by Fram? the only Pep Boys I know of is the one on Research and I've never seen one for the 617....

Do you have the Fram number?

anyone know if they have the "made in turkey" filters for the 603?

Kragen didnt have the fram filters for the 603 in stock so i had them order them. When i went to pick them up they were printed "made in mexico" and i remember you guys saying those were the same thing as the other filters (cotten gin waste and bugs) I asked them if they had any other fram filters that were made in turkey but the computer only listed the one they gave me.

The last time this offer came out (about 6 weeks ago), I picked up 4. Two came from Pep Boys on Research just south of Burnet, and 2 came from Pep Boys on Research at Lake Creek.

Part number was CH2930, and price was marked at $10.99, if I remember correctly.

Sam, I never tried the coupon at Kragen but there's a Pep Boys in Rohnert Park where I get mine.

Call corporate.

As I have heard the ones for the 603 are of poor quality like most of them are... but hell, for the cash as long as your oil is clean... You'll see me buying some up. I had a Hengst that had some junk in the bypass section and a Mann once too I recall.

I've never seen a Fram filter for the 603 listed anywhere. Is that a special order item? If so, can I still use the coupon?

I have usually found Fram filters to be poor quality. Are they better for the MB? Specifically the 617?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Specifically the CH2930 made in Turkey seems to be free of the floor sweepings so common in ALL the other OEM filters, Hengst and Mann included.
