Vibration with full lock

My 1985 300D Turbo (W123) has been acting up for about a month now. When I turn the wheel all the way to the left, full steering lock, I get a vibration in the steering and also in the brake pedal, if i am executing a 3 point or a uturn. Does not happen when turning the wheel all the way to the right. Wondering why I'd feel it in the steering as well as the brakes. Seems kinda strange. A lot of the rubber seems pretty nice and fresh under the car. Has anyone had these symptoms? Also the front tires seem to be wearing pretty quickly compared to the rear tires. Its been like 15,000 miles, MAYBE, and it seems the outside edges on the Michelin X-Radials are balding. Is this due to alignment/suspension or maybe I'm cornering too hard? I dont do anything ridiculous but I do like to break the monotony of the daily drive yaknow. Seems like if it was due to cornering then the rear tires would be wearing quickly as well.

Check the rubber stop points on the steering linkage. If they are broken or missing you could be feeling the vibration of the engine being transmitted via metal to metal contact when the steeing wheel is fully locked in a turn.

Thats also where power steering is stressed to the max, resulting at squeeling in older GM systems. How long has it been since you've replaced the PS fluid and filter? Uneven tire wear sounds like wheel allignment, gotta search hard to find somebody can properly allign the w123 - requires special tools. And allignment shops wont admit their own limitations, doing half-assed job instead. Ask em if they've got a "wheel spreader" to correctly allign the w123. If not, then walk away.
