Well, I did the refill on my fan clutch. I ordered two tubes of 10000 oil from Toyota in Dallas. I did the oven method and also used a coffee cup filled with hort water via the uwave to keep it flowing better. I think I had to do 7 innings of the oven routine. I did not know exactly where to drill and tap a hole into the proper place(chamber) so I just did it that way. I could only get about 80% of one tube into it before it slowed down so I just stopped as someone here said it would stay locked up if overfilled. Put the fan back on the car and tested. Although it wasn't but 86* here I took the car out for a fast run and returned and let the car idle with the ac on and in gear for a good 20 min or so. The temp climbed to almost 90* but no higher whereas before it was going to over 100* but at a higher ambient temp. When the temp sensor for the readout got to about 110*f the fan seemed to lockup and when I raised the rpms to about 3k it kicked out. I also made a tool from a 14" piece of 3/8ths pipe and hammered the allen key long end into the pipe and then cut off about 1/2" of the key. Will really test it when the temps get higher again but I am pleased. Note: this was an almost new fan clutch and what happened was the green seal that goes around the actuating pin had come unseated from the groove and obviously allowed the fluid to leak. I put a touch of hi-temp rtv on one edge to secure it. I still got skinned knuckles!!
