1996 e300d pulsating problem
when cruising along at a staedy speed,engine starts pulsating any clues to what it might be? im told maybe a door inside the intake manifold maybe sticking. any help would be appreciated

It could be a sticking intake manifold flap or bad injector(s) or a combination of the two. I would start by dumping some injector cleaner in the tank if you haven't done so already and taking the crossover pipe off and cleaning and lubing all the flaps.

Buck,
Do a search for "surging" you will find lots of information. I had that problem and it ended up being a clogged intake with stuck flaps. Its pretty easy to take apart. Are you getting the Check Electronics Message?? I had the surging without it for awhile when it got bad enough then the message came up. Where are you located?
