'83 300D - Vacuum Line ?
Hi,
Last night I was changing my secondary fuel filter (hesitation/surging at highway speeds). I leaned over and 'POP', something broke where I put my hand! It looks like a little vacuum regulator/tap; I broke the barbs off where two little hoses go. This thing is located in the rigid pipe between the master cylinder and the vacuum pump. The dealer says I have to replace the whole pipe, not just the valve. Is that right? How much am I looking at? Thanks! -Chris- |

Dealer just called back...
It's called a brake booster line. Part number 1234307429. $80. Looks like I gotta buy the whole thing... |

How fast do you need it? If immediate, then dealer. Check with Phil on this forum.
