I wanted to ask the Pros if this will cause a problem.
I had a delivery valve leak and replaced the O ring at the base.. I had trouble getting it back together. What i finaly did was to line the valve disc ofer the injector pump body and use non fiberous grease to hold the spring in the delivery valve body so i could get it back together. It seems to work OK since i did it.

Gold 86 300 sdl
got it for 400$ and 100$
invested so far.

I don't think it will hurt. The diesel flow will clean it out over time and it's not too thick to pass through the injector.
