I'm brilliant, or what walmart, $10, and a broken key will get you.

In a brilliant move (which I always realized about 2 hrs later when I am still there) I went to Walmart last night (a story which always ends in tragedy) and broke the key off in my trunk. The only key I have. The PO of my vehicle decided to use a cutting wheel on the ignition last time to fix this issue.

Yet somehow I was able to pull the broken nub out of the trunk, stick it in the door, unlock the door, pull it out of the door, get it in the ignition, start her up, get home and take off the ignition collar!!!! Im brilliant! Now if Only I can remember to get SPARE keys!!!!

Needless to say, I need a key, matching ignition tumbler, and matching door handle (one or more trunk is cool to but not needed)! Please help. I just spent a good some of money getting this fixed 3months ago (and didnt bother to get a spare!@#!@#!@#!@#!#%RQSRGWERT#@$RW$#RT).

I need a later model door handle style with the additional security device.

why not just order a ignition tumbler from MB? it will come with a key matched to your car.

Ah yes, why not? Its a Euro. PO had already taken a cutting wheel to the old ignition. MB told them since it was a euro it would 150 because they would have to go through microfiche in De or something. Anyways a few months ago I just replaced all of the lock with a set from an 85. Anyways I just tore the crap out the door lock.

It sounds like you need a set of matching locks from a parts car (with the key).

You have both pieces of the old key (assuming '85 W123)...right? If so, a good locksmith could make a new spare for you. It would probably be in brass, but who cares at this point.

The dealer will typically ask for proof of ownership or registration to give you a key cut to VIN. Maybe they'll sell you a lock without proof :P

The problem with that is that MB dealer wants a title with my name on it. I am calling pull-a-part tomorrow and finding out about keys.......
