Trap oxidizer removal ?

Have a great running 87 300D. Has had Trap Ox factory recall work done. Have to replace the accordian between the split exhaust. Just wondering if I can just not put the New Trap Ox bypass tube on , plug off the square attachment point on the turbo and make a plate to cover the exhaust opening, or is this just work for nothing?

Thanks,
davidshaw

You can only do that if your car is for off road use only. My car is for off road use only. I just keep plates on it so it doesn't look like an abandonned car.
