Sold the 300D.

Sold my 300D tonight. Got a good price for it, but I was still sad to see it go. I'm getting a diesel truck instead.

Hmm my SD is in better shape as far as the original MB paint and engine. But if you sold it for $2,600 then i shouldnt have to worry about asking $2K for my SD would i?

What was the condition of your interior. Mine is pretty beat so i have custom cloth seat covers to cover it all up

No offense, but that is truly amazing! Was the interior perfect? Front end rebuilt? AC working?

**edit**

Even more amazing being around here. Cars that look much better than that sell for half that price all the time. I'm still floored, but happy for you.....

Yeah, I listed it for $3000 not expecting any serious interest, but hey, it sold for a good amount. Interior was fair, the MB Tex was a bit worn, but the seats had been repadded by a PO. PO also had about $700 in engine work done to it three years ago. It had a vacuum leak somewhere causing a no shutdown/no locks/hard brakes condition, really really bad paint(rubbed off on your hands if you touched it), and the tires were maybe 30%. I owned it since Febuary and put a grand total of 36 miles on it(no plates/insurance = no on-road driving). I would tell you how much I paid for it, but the new owner might get get angry- I gave him a link to this forum so he can learn as much as I did.
