Parts? Where?
I have been wanting to start a w123 diesel SVO car up and have had a slight amount of mechanical background. However, I wanted to check availability on parts for a 1985 300TD at my local autozone, and there was zero. Not even brake rotors, pads, nothing.
This is depressing. I just don't want to be up you know what creek without a paddle, scouring forums in order to get a certain fuel pump, or brake pad. Is the Benz Dealer going to charge a child and a half for something like brake pads? Are my fears unwarranted? Am I just being paranoid? |
autozone does have brake pads for the W123... i only buy my tail lamp bulbs from them.. their are places to get parts online.. fastlane, **************.com, me... other places
also doing the pads on the W123 is the easiest car to do it on, tap out two pins, drop one side in at a time, put the pins back in, new wear sensors... dont forget the anti squeal paste.. and your done |

First off, welcome. I canvass three sites in particular to compare pricing. They are *************** ************** and performanceproducts4benz.com
*************** is generally referred to Rusty's here in the forum. Good luck and be sure to check the do-it-yourself link in this forum. I'm getting to be a pretty good mechanic with the info help found throughout this site. It Rocks! |
Here is the place to buy any part that you need.
