Had a "getting to know you" session with my '81 300TD this morning, diesel purging, changing the oil, changing the PS, air, and fuel filters, lubing the throttle linkage, etc. Managed it all without knocking off any vaccuum lines too .

Speaking of the throttle linkage, what is the device near the fuel filter that is connected to the throttle linkage?
