*GAH! MY EYES!*

DId you get an actual color swatch from them? Or are you jsut matching whats on the screen? They state that colors arent exact from the site, just representative of something close. That looks like candy blue. You'll need 24" rims and G Wagen Control Arms to complete the look.

Also chrome "24" for the fenders

What I was going to say. It just doesn't look dignified. IMNSHO that blue belongs on a WRX.

A nice reserved, dignified blue seems more appropriate.

My car is pastel gray, which is almost too reserved. Seems a nice color for little old ladies with gray hair to be seen driving to tea in.

When it's time for paint I'm planing on a color change too. I may venture as far as silver.

Personally, I like it. But if you're going for Mercedes blue, I don't think that's quite it.

Try this link and see whether it's any close to any of these:

Color code + pics

Honestly, it's not that deep. Too bluish. Or to be more technical, you have more yellow in it. A bit more and it will turn blue green. Try to mix your paint with less yellow, or more red.

From the site above, this is surfblau/deepblue option 900

I Thank You All For Your Feedback

and as i said I didnt like it the moment I saw it come out of the Gun. I wanted a much more dignified color. As I said it looks like a great color for a Chemical Factory or a Muscle Car--but I'm in too deep now, and I already did the roof

I did a test spray, but for a while...

I did a test spray, but for a while...I was equivocating ( hemming and hawing) about whether to paint or not. I bought the paint on line so I was afraid if I waited a week for another Color, I might just give up on painting the car , because I knew it would cost me 4 days of vacation, and it was a huge effort stripping and priming the car and dissassembling it.

Anyway this is under FLOURESCENT LIGHT and the clear coat which isn't on yet greatly dims the color. It doesn't look that bad in daylight. I'll take apicture under the sun today.

Are you having any problems with orange peeling? My buddy's dad was painting pieces of his Trans Am black and the orange peel was pretty horrible. Wondering if we have to wet sand it or if its his technique.
