Low sulfur diesel
Anyone know what the deal is with low sulfur diesel?
I could be nuts but pt sounds like bad news for new Diesel sales in the US. Let me know. Matt |

Actually it is very good news. Low Sulfur diesel is what they use in Europe. Try a search on this forum for more info. There are several informative threads.

Low sulfur diesel (<500ppm)has been on the market for years...
Ultral Low Sulfur Diesel (<15ppm) is the new stuff hitting the pumps. Watch for leaks from your IP. Add a little transmissin leak stop to the tank or to the filter to fix it. -Jim

ULSD (Ultra low sulfur Diesel) will be wonderful for new diesels. It may cause a few leaky seals for our older cars, but it will allow the sale of cars never before seen on this continent.
