shut off valve

I need to replace the shut off valve(or the o ring)on my 98 300 turbo diesel. Can this be done without removing intake manifold?Cant find a price for this part anyone know approx. Thanks for any advice.

Here is the link for the o-ring. Phil doesnt show the shut off valve in his catalog. As i recall it was ~$200 for my 99 from the dealer.

It is possible to R & R without removing the manifold. Pull the windsheild washer bottle to gain some room to work.

If you only have a leak just replace the o-ring. If shutting down while driving consider the valve too.

Call Phil for a price on the valve...as I recall it is closer to $125. The o-ring is about $1 and most of the time that is what is leaking. As stated above it can be replaced without pulling the IM, takes about 15 minutes.

I have replaced the o-ring on my shut-off valve w/o removing the intake. However, everything else does seem to require removing the intake or the washer bottle.
