This Site Is Great!!!!!!!

You guys are Awesome...

The amount of information gathered on this site is second to none.

I had an issue with my 1987 300D Turbo last week.
Every time I tried to accelerate and got to 3500 rpm the car would not go past that...
Spend a few hours reading through the threads and everything pointed to fuel filters.
Well, looked at my maintenance records and the last time I did a fuel filter change was about 15000 mile.
As luck would have it, in my garage I had both fuel filters. about 15 minutes later all the work was done and I was heading toward the Hight Way for a test drive...
Stepped on the gas pedal going up the ramp and, what do you know, it went right past 3500 rpm and kept on going all the way to end...

Thanks to all of you guys who contribute to the knowledge base.

Igor.
