fuel line size help

what size are the two fuel lines that are coming from and going back to, the tank on a 83, 123 300d ?

mine are leaking like crazy. thought it was the rearend axel seal but quite relieved to see it was just stinky fuel oil.
thanks in advance

I used 5/16" fuel line to replace mine. it is a metric size stock, but was close enough.

if you find the leak you can cut the metal and splice a piece of rubber over it. or run rubber full lentgh. if there is a fleet farm by you, they have multi fuel injection line for around $3/ft instead of $10/ft at napa, etc.

I used 5/16, as well. Since you'll have rubber hoses on the ends, they dont need to be the original metric to match anything.

It calls for a 7.5mm ID fuel line. 5/16"=7.9375mm so its pretty close.
