That IS cheap. Careful, I can't imagine the same hitch working on a wagon and sedan......

Pictures shows a receiver hitch but the description is of a fixed drawbar. Has anyone seen a picture of the hitch they are selling? Is it just a bumper hitch or does it attach to anything else? It must be a bumper hitch since the same part number is used on a LOT of different vehicles.
I'd like a receiver hitch for my 85 300TD.Here's one, but it's not cheap:

I'm almost certain that is a generic picture and not a picture of the actual hitch. The picture is of a receiver hitch but the description is of a fixed drawbar.

It's another generic picture. Look at the hitches with other part numbers for other vehicles and the picture is the same. They don't show that part number as fitting a Mercedes.

No its the same part number for all of them. Since its bumper mounted I'm guessing the load has more to do with bumper construction. I'm betting this is the correct one as Amazon is on top of things. Also this was the only one I found that didnt have the exact same pic as all the others.

I saw different part numbers with the same picture. You can see the different part numbers and car models with the same picture on this page:

Ah well I believe that is spreader bar style. I am going to talk to wifey and see if she approves of it going on her wagon. 32bucks is hard to beat.

If you get it, let me know how it works. I'm definitely in the market for the hitch for the wagon.
