i kinda figured it. but this car is 1 year away from being classified as an antique not to mention that this is a EURO car or gray market, so im thinking they will re consider

first that much damage shouldnt total your car unless it was pretty rough.
second, they wont buy a new door unless a used one cannot be found...which is unlikely since i have at least four in my basement. tom w

insurance
i had an accident in august with my sdl estimate for 3000 it was totaled for 2400 after much angst bought back from ins co for 165 and repaired for 1500 Because it was 20 years old no salvage title needed in nh so next week will be on the road again good luck Oh BTW Dad's 86 SDL and 87 190 turbo both have been appraised and have value addded insurance policys but they are in the 8-10000 range and in mint condition I offered Dad 7500 for his SDL he says not even family could get it for that HA HA HA
