What did you do to try and rule out bad fuel? You could empty and refill the fuel filter with fresh fuel, then stick the fuel supply line in a bottle of clean diesel, purge air, and see if it start. Also, how did you check the glow plugs? Multimeter, or just a circuit tester? Did you check for voltage drop between the glow plugs and strip that connects them? You may be getting full voltage to the strip but not to one or more glow plugs. It's a bit of a long shot that this would be enough to keep it from even trying to start, but stranger things have happened. After all, I guess it's a little chilly up there!

A little chilly???
Bloody freezing! but yeah we tested each plug with a multimeter but the fuel thing may still be the problem it seems the pump may have broken while trying to move the much thinner fuel for long periods of time and thanks that's a great idea i will try cleaning the filtre and feeding with fresh fuel
Death to Gremlins!!!
