MB Wagon Question
I am trying to determine if MB produced a Turbo Diesel Wagon in 98 or 99 in the US? I have been told that there is 300 E TDT that had limited production in the US. I have also been told that this car was only produced for non-US markets. Can somebody please help me out with this quesition?
Thanks, Jon Asheville, NC |

Neat!!!
I have a 1998 E300D-T sedan and a 1999 E320 4Matic wagon. The wagon handles very nicely and the all wheel drive is a joy in the winter, but I would love to have another OM606. The 3.2L V6 is quiet, refined, and powerful, but it's hard to describe the purr and torque (not to mention fuel economy) of a diesel. IMO, the 210 body and OM606 engine are hard to beat.

98-99 Diesel Wagon
Thanks for the reply. Did you buy your diesel wagon used? I have been trying to locate one and have not had any luck. Many people at shops are telling me the car does not exist. Good to know it does. Any suggestions about where might find one?

The only late diesel passenger cars produced are the 98-99 W210 E300 sedan. AFAIK, The only diesel station wagons in the USA are the 79-85 300TD and 87 300TD. |

The only MB produced in the US in 98-99 is the ML
You might try shopping in Canada if you live somewhere they're not so picky about personal imports. Sixto 93 300SD |

No they do not exist from this country. If you must have one you will have to import it from the UK or mainland Europe.
