Tie Rods...e-Bay item, too cheap???

Howdy,

These "tie rods" have been on e-Bay a couple of times....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-TIE-ROD-W123-240D-280E-300D-W116-6-9-77-85_W0QQitemZ320037994073QQihZ011QQcategoryZ33580QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

when I compare prices with other reputable parts sources....i.e. Phil, Performance4Benz .....these seem way too cheap.....have asked the seller where they were manufactured....no answer as yet.....

whatchall think???

SB

IIRC this guy has screwed several people on here.

Use one of the more popular places. Phil, ********, buymbparts. They offer good customer serivce and if you order enough stuff, free shipping.

You cant go wrong.

Mercedes991 moves a lot of parts and often makes mistakes. I bought a part from them 2 years ago that never got sent, and I had to call them over and over to get action. I eventually did get the part, but it was NOT worth the hassle.

Check at reputable sites but don't skimp out. Because of the replacement time on this part I would suggest sticking with OEM(Lemforder).

They are Ocap, I queston the quality of such parts.

If its a car you plan on keeping spring for Lemforder, or one of the better brands.

If you can always buy Lemforder suspension parts, they make the best and are OE.
