Did you measure resistance to ground of each glow plug pin of the relay connector?
Try again with the 6 pin connector disconnected. If the fuse blows, it's a bad relay. Sixto 93 300SD |

New GPs, Blows 80A Fuse
The number 5 GP has a bracket up against its nut. I'll fix it tomorrow. -Jim

This happened to me after replacing my plugs in the same car. Turned out it was a glow plug wire which twisted as I installed and tightened it, touching the wire to the head. Hopefully you have another fuse.

Ja,
When U blow a fuse, U have continuity, more of it than U want. Is called a short circuit. Usually its a wire touching ground. It happens more in cars because all the metal in the car body is ground. Don't feel bad, I did the same thing. When I was tightening the nuts on the GP terminals, one of the wire connectors turned with the nut, touched the head, caused a short circuit, and blew out the GP relay fuse.
