Ok, as a first diesel mercedes, how about this one? It is a 4 speed euro import, it seems. I would imagine parts would be hard to find for this car, and it looks like it could use some work. Does anyone own a diesel Heckflosse and could give me some tips/specs on this vehicle? Probably not alot of horsepower being a 4 cylinder 40+ year old diesel... Does this car look like a good buy, and where could I buy parts for it if it is? Thanks
My "spec" information shows:
W110 "Fin-body" Sedans
Chassis - W110.110
Engine - M621.918
Model - 200D
Years Mfgd - 1966-67
H.P. - 60
I was considering a 1965 220B "gasse"r... until I saw how scarse parts would be for her...
I recommend you check on parts for this one too before jumping in!
Regards,

If headrests are that big of an issue, can't seats from another MB of that era (108/109/114/115) that has headrests be swapped in?

With the factory MB Classic program in place, in the USA, this model qualifies as an MB classic, and the parts support is in place.

I'd contact the MB classic people first, to be sure about parts availability, and how fast parts can be obtained, before buying, though
