Power steering pump failure
This morning started the 1985 300tdt to a very load screech, obviously something belt driven was seized under the hood. I got out a used another car to go to work. I figured it was the alternator. I was expecting it to go out because it had been making lots of racket lately. Or maybe hoping so that I could upgrade to a larger one…
To my surprise at lunch I checked it and it was the power steering pump. Checked the fluid, has plenty. I'm surprise it failed. Car only has 179k on it. Never seen one fail before... |
