How many gal/quart transmission fluid?
My wifes TD (na) needs transmission fluid changed and I want to go synthetic. How much is needed? Dealership quoted $189 with non synth.

Measure how much comes out. Mine took 5 quarts and change without draining the torque converter.

drain the TQ.... mine took 7 quarts... i added 5 and went from there.
