GLow Plug question 85 300TDT

Running rough on start, checked the glow plug relay and found that #4 is not working. How do you determine where #4 is? Do you just count 4 starting from the front of the engine? I haven't replaced glow plugs in years, and can't remember.

That's what you do.

#4 is no fun because it's partially blocked by the oil filter housing. Pick up a gearwrench for it.......or suffer the pain.
