Oil pressure?

Ok, so I just got my 92 300D with the 2.5 5 cylinder engine, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the oil pressure should run at under normal driving conditions.

1-3bar at idle, 3+ above 1500rpm.

So basically it is normal for it to stay pretty much pegged at driving speeds? I hope so, cause thats what it does. Right on 3 all the way home. 450 miles.

Correct. It should be pegged all the time except at idle with the engine warm and when the engine is not running.
