Door retainer seal - which grease?

Hi

I'm replacing the door retainer seals on my 300TD to stop the torrential rains inside my car, caused by torrential rain here in New Orleans.

The FSM says Shell Retinax G to lubricate, which I understand is not available on this side of the pond. What have the rest of y'all used and which parts do you coat? Just where it seats within the rail on the door or the entire thing?

Thanks

Silicone Grease

I have always used Silicone Grease on all rubber on any of my cars. Keeps it all soft and rain tight. You can usually find it at most Auto Supply Stores. Spray silicone also works but it tends to make a mess when you spray.
