Gurgling in vents
The strangest thing happened when I was futzing around with the Shlomo car in the driveway--
The center vents were making a gurgling sound! It was a little concerning, but is it normal? Do I have to spend hundreds of dollars on it now? Also-- My drivers front tire is bald on the outside, what part generally makes that happen? I know it needs a front-end rebuild, but...

OK, thanks for the gurgling answer! I was concerned that it may be a bad heater core or something! I don't want to take off my cracked up dash! I'm not sure it'd go back on in one piece!
As for the tire wear-- It was wearing perfectly, until I mentioned to my Father that the wheel had too much play. We replaced the tie rods and ends(they came in one piece) and now the alignment is even worse than before! That is when I finally stopped driving the car. It's been sitting in the driveway needing an alternator bolt and this front end thing for a month now, and it's driving me crazy knowing that I'm driving a neon over a Mercedes! I want my hood ornament back, dammit! At this point, I pretty much know that it has to go to the repair shop, but I have no money for those kinds of things, which is why I've declined posting for answers-- What we don't know can't hurt us

If wear pattern has just really ocurred since you changed the tie rod ends?
Then of course the toe in could be too great. Bad alignment can make a car difficult to drive. But in general the other tire should be showing some of the same symptoms if toe is the problem. Car may also not need a front end rebuild but may have a part or two that needs changed out or perhaps nothing. We have a good deal locally. If car is taken to an alignment shop no alignment is done until worn parts are changed. We take car home and change them ourselves. If needs are too great for example work is not done. Or is put off till time and funds allow it. No bill is presented up to this point. Then when work if any is done car goes back to the alignment shop. It is always wise to have the front end components checked for wear from time to time anyways. The results of not doing it can be pretty bad. A little slack in a steering box is nothing to get concerned about for example. On the otherhand a really bad ball joint can get serious at some point. |

Only ever noticed it once before, guess it's kinda hard to hear when the radio is on or if there is other outside noise

Check your coolant level. Possible air in the lines.
