I can't seem to find my exact problem through searching the threads.

The problem is in an '84 300D-T with the turn signal/brights/dim lever.

The thing randomly shifts from dims to brights when you hit the slightest bump or barely touch the lever.

Is this a difficult swap out or does anyone have an idea?

IIRC, you have to pull the steering wheel to gain access. But with a puller, that is not too bad if you mark indexing before hand.

I have read about it on http://mb.braingears.com but have not actually done this job. (Mine does not reset after a left turn.)
