wow ,i believe i just bought a 88 60k 190d

Really wasnt looking for a 190d ,this one came up and was impressed be its appearance when I got to see her.Mint interior ,and a 8 on exterior. 1988 190d with the 2.5.The seller was not the origonal owner ,his friend was,a commercial pilot.The story goes on to include that the pilot used this car as his stand-by transpo when he was in town once a week .When driving I noticed the odometer wasnt functioning ,Iasked the seller and he replied that it went out a month ago .The mileage I wasnt so concerned about on these diesel models,the motor ran exceptionally well ,it was the trannie that had a slip that was my biggest concern.The price was negoitatiated and we reached an agreement of $1200.Back to the mileage ,I had little faith in the true mileage being found until I noticed a service sticker dated 11/10/05 ,stating a oil change needed at 58,345.Knowing that my mileage on the now stopped odometer is 57,655 I now believe the seller was truthful in his statement.Question,can anyone give me a carfax response to this car ,it feels like its to good to be true.I can email the vin
