1 caliper or 2?

I am going to replace my right front caliper since it is gushing. My left front caliper looks good. Should I replace only the bad 1 or both?

Source for quality rebuilt calipers?

Best pads?

Thanks!
Mark

Keep the sides the same. Replace one side, replace the other too.

If you only replace one side, it's a gamble if you will get a pull to one side or not.

Parts Source

Quality calipers & pads - Check with Phil at the 'buy parts' tab up top.

I had good luck with Autozone rebuilt ATE's - don't get the pads there - no metallic pads.

Good point! I was concerned since my master cyl. is only a few months old and one good caliper would put a lot of pressure on the old one and make it more likely to fail. Never thought about the pull issue.

Thanks FI!
