Local Meets

I was wondering if this is anything the proud owners here have ever done. I know that when I belonged to a CRX owners group and had a forum much like this one here we always had local meets. It was a rather good time. We did work shops during the day, touring drives and had a darn good time at night. In this neck of the woods we always hosted it in Niagara Falls.

Just a curious question.

We are not nearly as active. Look for a couple in the spring.

Yeah I'm right down the line from Branford.

There were a couple of meets scheduled for September, but they were cancelled because of lack of interest.

Thanks Hit Man!

I fixed it now. Didn't think I'd get into the community as much as I have, so I hadn't bothered putting in my location before. Really enjoy this board.

I've spent this past week doing a bunch of woodwork for the house and have a ton yet to go so haven't had much wrench time.

Zack (Boardmonger), SirNik, and Justinwrock, and others, pushed for and set up, and just had a Diesel gtg in Sacramento, at the TOWE Automuseum this past Saturday, Mercedesshop and Benzworld folks were invited and after the 15th car showed up, people quit counting the cars. Members from as far as Los Angeles showed up. What a GREAT bunch of people

I got to go, and had a great time!!! Education, fellowship, camaraderie, stories, photos, lunch, a trip to the pick n pull, and a reputed DIESEL drag race. You can't beat it with a stick!!!

exactly the type of thing I'm talking about. I think I'll start planning now for the spring. I don't know what kind of following we have here in upstate NY though. I've got a sizable amount of land and will probably be building my garage at that point. We could put together a nice meet for the North Easters in the room.

I produce Bio-Diesel so that could be part of the whole experience.
