how much does a 300d weigh and what is the rated h.p. for the turbo engine ? i have an engine and automatic i would like to install in my 46 hudson 4 door sedan that weighs about 3200 lbs. would it be as good as the old 212 cu in six cyl. gas engine thats currently in it ? what a conversation piece it would be, and no major rust etc problems to deal with. comments please ?

The W123 300D turbo weighs about 3500 pounds empty. The turbo engine is about 125 horsepower, and uses a 3.07 or 2.88 final ratio depending on the year. Hope that helps.
