while sitting in my boring wednesday class i actully made a list.

i remmeber this summer when i was getting so frustrated cause i had so much to do, but can u believe the list i made was actully smal maybe im just not looking hard enough HA. but really im kinda glade the mechanical list is going down, that way i can get on the interior a little bit.

1. cv joint boots
2.brake lines ( a lil rotted, better fix before an uh oh)
3. do a rear brake job
4. install the new sway bar links that have been sitting on the shelf for months
5. roll in new timming chain, or have shop do it
6. new clutch
7 new shifter bushings
8 if i get a chance, new rear shocks
9. sagging sunroof?

otherwise that about it. right now i wouldnt be afraid to drive it from here to lets say newyork... HA or cali or anthing. i got no rust so i dont have to worrie about that. after i get all that done or find a new door or somthing im going to fix the rear drivers side door after that fender bender. or get the rest of the dents out, luckly my neigbor is a body shop repair man, and he has his own garage, maybe i can throw some money his way to get the dings, dents out. .........other than that, maybe get a new drivers seat or have mine fixed. or fix it. there are a couple cosmetic thing inside, but ill deall with that later.

all and all im really happy with my lil 240. the list is finally starting to dwindle. its good right now cause im to busy to really get deap into it.

Ouch, not much ... no garage = less fun in the winter. Unfortunately I've been really sick after tonsillectomy complications, so I've totally neglected my car for two weeks, BUT I do plan to finish up the POR15 job I started a while back. I put down the POR15 but had to reassemble the car before putting a topcoat on, so I'm going to do that when I get a decent day. Mostly in the winter I do aesthetic things, little things ... like I replaced the sticker on the CC knob (the red, white and blue one) ... little stuff makes a difference in looks. I want to find out what's clicking in the back seat (sounds like it's coming from the C panel???) and fix that. I want to possibly do some rocker panel damage control, if the weather allows. Other than that, just the usual maintenance, including what looks like will be the customary dead-January oil change (Brrrrr). And fix (or have fixed) whatever goes wrong.

Got a Frybrid WVO kit to install, and some vaccum work - door locks and ability to stop engine slowly going.

Also just got the VDO turbo gauge.

Not a whole lot of Benz projects. My kid drives the SD in the winter; we fix things on it the summer. I have to change out the trans in the ML. Planning on changing out all the soft top cylinders in the SL, and a head gasket/timing chain/valve job.

Big project is finish the restore on the boat. Repaint the engine compartment, and finish rebuilding the engines.
