Angry Attacked by herd of tumble weed

Well, I just got a little dent on my fender by being attacked by tumble weed. Just when you thought it was safe to drive across KS, a significant gust of wind (probably 40 MPH) blew a bunch of tumbleweed across the highway. I dodged most of them, but a big one caught my left front fender (I was driving about 80), and it actually made a dent about the size of a quarter, like a parking lot ding (no paint damage). I didn't think tumbleweed was that solid. I guess I need to visit the "dent doctor" folks when I get back home next week.

Sucks it was your merc.

Before they overdeveloped the area highway 50 in sac would get perodic tumbleweeds floating along. I always aimed for them whenever possible (in my beater truck). Damn fun to watch em blow up

I hit one going about 80 on the way to Las Vegas once. I didn't bother to dodge it because hell, anything light enough to blow around in the wind is just gonna turn to dust on impact, right?

Shook the whole car!

I drove the next three hours with a slowly deteriorating tumbleweed embedded in my grille.

Miraculously it didn't do any permanent damage.
