350 in my neck of the woods

Larry, I live in Michigan and was thinking like jshadows. I was making plans to contact the guy when I read on. I just baught a 300sdl that needs nothing, so it was really just a thought.

Are you picking it up? Where do you live? I will be off this week, so if you needed anything while in my neck of the woods, call. Really, new 300sdl, time off, road trip!

Same here...

Before I went to the garage and snapped this photo, I thought I would an example of the 'different' valve cover, but as it turns out mine is exactly the same, too.

Front has heaters if you look close, I'd venture to guess it's the same for the rears.

I still haven't taken my interior out to figure out what's up with mine.

I'd love to have that car just to use the interior....

That would look so good in my SD....if it would fit...

It'll fit, but the harness won't swap. You'll have to break your seat down totally for this. If you know how/find out, let me know.

The VC on the NA versions of the OM603 is flat, all the way across. I've never seen one installed on a factory turbo, but I suppose it might work. I think the hump in the rear is for additional oil separation in the crankcase breather.

Human memory is very poor, I just think some of you guys have bad memories! Unless someone swapped out a NA valve cover which I doubt, because those engines are pretty rare in this country.

Mea Culpa - I started this thing ... mine was in the body shop at the time ...

Mine is exactly the same as all the photos ... in spite of having handled it twice during removal and replacement ...

Accckkk ... so, this is more of the middle age thing ...

I don't like it ...

Sorry .... mea culpa!
