At last a car slower than my 240ds in my own neighbourhood. I have been trying and trying to get a speeding ticket unsuccessfully. You are about twenty miles from my home outside Amherst I believe. They do not give away batteries here like in the states. If engine is normally an easy starter I would try to get something pretty cheap with about 700 amps capacity. That should be plenty for late spring, summer and fall here. I cranked up a five cylinder with less capacity than that two or three weeks ago. It had sat for about two years and had vegatable oil in the pump. I could not qualify the type of vegatable though. Hope to see your car around sometime. I want some of those auto zone 75.00 american perhaps less on sale type 49 1000 amp batteries by johnson controls. Or if you know someone going over the border into Calais, Maine there is a chain auto parts store there with comparativly reasonable prices. Send a dud of any type to exchange though as their dud allowance is higher than ours. Good equivelents to the type 49 here are about 150.00 plus 15% sales tax. Kind of a sick joke really as there is no duty applied on batteries coming into canada under the free trade agreement. It is almost right across the board too. Front rotor for 123 type 54.00 here 19.95 Maine.
