This car is no more than 90 minutes from me. I am a little afraid to look at it because I might breakdown and sell my soul for it. I already have one car to get reapired. The problem is that I am a diesel Merc junkie and I don't know that I care to be 'cured'.

... I will put a proper tailpipe on it.

Either it has been kept well enough to warrant silver wiper blades or the seller knows the way to my heart is to not have black wiper blades on a 116 :p

My uncle had a 280S in that shade of green with green tartan fabric upholstery.

That's the first W116 I see with brown console sides. Nice touch.

I will be interested to see how much it fetches.

It is almost identical to my brown one in mileage and condition. I have the same apparently "legendary" interior.

Not sure about the radio antenna though. Something weird going on with that.

Why do people not post engine photos?????

I wonder about rust with it being in Ohio.

240D or 300SD which are you bidding on?

At the top it is a 200 series 240D and the write up and pictures are 300SD or am I missing something here?

I think the seller is missing something

Obviously it is listed incorrectly. The seller knows what it is since the description below is correct.

Not much EBay history and none that I can tell that is auto related let alone Mercedes related.

Gorgeous color. Looks like a nice car.

But it really bugs me when the User ID is private. Makes you wonder...

If I buy this car, I'll have to deal with a rear bumper repair or replacement.

If I buy this car, I'll have to sleep in it.
