Whats your favorite/unfavorite W123 Interior?

Whats your favorite/unfavorite W123 Interior? I hated my yellow mustard interior that I lived with for 10 years. It was more like Puke Yellow and I just couldnt get the stains and smell out of it.

When an Indy offered me the Black Leather Interior off of a smashed car for $300, I knew it was worth it. But I waited him out and got it for less and I pulled everything, including the headliner and rear console or deck.
The Black leather inetrior is very business like and handsome.
My second favorite is the Tan Leather interior I had on my 83 240D. I have seen various other interiors through the years and whenever I see that Yellow Mustard interior I just wonder why Mercedes picked that scheme. It must have looked dramtically different when it was new.

I like the navy interior that mine has. Never been too partial to black.

My "85" Euro 240D had cloth, "baby crap yellow" seats and if that wasn't bad enough the outer seat panels were cloth also which were hard too keep clean. I lucked out and found a parts car with a pristine palomino interior which I swapped in. My favorite interior is dark blue.

anything but BLUE!

I like my black interior on the 82 CD, my 87 300D has blue inteirior but the windows are dark and seats are covered so it's not too noticible.

My 300SD has the chocolate brown interior- it's taken some getting used to...

I saw an awful one!

In the local junk yard is an older 240D with kind of an off green exterior and an M-B Tex of the meanest color green I have ever seen. Bout the color of cow manure. Must have made other people sick also. The car didn't look to bad, but not much has been taken off from it. I do like the very light brown M/B Tex in my blue 300, and I like the darker brown also.

Palomino is not bad with a dark color paint, until it turns into Pinkamino. Mine is still Palomino, even after 24 years.

I am not partial to the blue . The way I want my interiors is with minumin wear. I would take a blue in good shape over my favorites in a minute if it was in far superior condition. The black does seem to lessen tha apparent room in the cab. But since the space is the same it is really irrelavant. The darker brown interiors do not particularily turn my crank either. But again condition does tend to overcome color to me. Also there were suttle design changes over the years. For example I know where there is an early 240d with an off white interior that looks cheap. Excellent condition though and available.

That's the color of my 300td's interior, in varying shades of Palomino->Pinkamino->Sootamino (the PO didn't know how the close the hatch very well).

Sorry blue, maroon, and green interior devotees, but they just look "wrong" to me.

IMO, 95% of interiors should be varying shades of black, grey, or tan. If it isn't a "natural" color for a hide, it doesn't look right.

Don't like the blue. While I have never sat in and only seen pictures of the avocado, I think I might get ill doing so. That green cloth with tex panels has to be the alltime worst.
Favs= silver older car, red interior
palamino otherwise
