300D Alternator Upgrade
I have an '82 300D Turbo running on WVO. Due to the WVO System, my normal vehicle electronics, and additional equipment powered by my vehicle, I need to be able to pull 100amps to run everything and keep my battery charged. I'm looking for one that has a max output of 120+. Does anyone know where I can find one fitting the AL 117 Bracket, or an adapter for tyhe stock bracket? I've checked with local garages and they all say they can't help me because of the all of the extra parts I've added. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I know that the alternator from an early 90's Saab 900 (120Amp) will work....just transfer the pulleys and change the hookup wiring. Its a little bigger so it'd be a tight fit.
