How do you test switchover valves?
 

I've reasearched alot of threads and I think the problems I'm having with the climate control on my 85 300td is related to the valves behind the ccu. Someone wrote about checking the continuity. I have an eletrical tester but I am not very familiar with its use. If someone could walk me through the procedure It would be greatly appreciated.
