The EPC shows that the late model OM602 (2.9L w/ distribution type IP) was available with a water-separator equipped fuel filter. I (rather excitedly) ordered five of them (NOT cheap, and from Germany too...) but the blasted things are significantly taller than the stock filter! The standard OM60x filter measures 98mm tall, from the bottom to the top of the seal ring, and this beast is a whopping 130mm.

To get these filters to work, the filter holder needs to be spaced upward about an inch, or you could relocate the holder altogether. I'm not interested in doing either at the moment though. If anyone's interested in buying these, please PM or email me.
