Liqui/Lubro Moly is the company name, the product we are discussing is Diesel Purge. by Liqui moly, Diesel Giant has a nice pictorial on his website explaining how to use it. did you put the LM DP in your tank, or did you use a different product from LM in your tank?

Lubro/Liqui Moly has 2 products for diesels.

First is Diesel Purge, which is supposed to be run through the engine at full stregnth, out of the can.....

Second is what they call Diesel Hi Test, which is a cetane booster and fuel system cleaner that is poured into the fuel tank.....

Seafoam works wonders sometimes.

Be very careful when adding it to the oil of a turbo diesel(OM617) with the oil spray jets that spray the pistons with oil. I almost had one run away on me once.

I think it contains alcohol and naptha, which is good old lighter fluid.
