Torn front end boots without symptoms. A Fix?

I've got recently replaced front end stuff by PO. I've noticed that a lot of the boots are badly torn but the retainers clips look new. Everything is tight. Is there no replacement boots to cover the joints that does not require a teardown. Was thinking a homebrew Wynol injection would be effective at protecting the joints longer that grease. They do use wax on bike chains as lubricant. Thats what gave me the idea.

Nope, gotta replace the joints. The boots are the only thing that keeps the water and dirt out. I have the same problem on my car. Replaceable boots and grease zirks would have been a nice addition!

Which joints and boots are you talking about. I just found that the boots on the front shock on the driver's side is completely shot.

I'm talking about tie-rods and other steering steering knuckles.
