my grease car

i have recently finished work on a mb300d. I converted it to run on wvo. I cut the top off the stock fuel tank and installed 10' of copper coil to preaheat my fuel using coolant from my water pump. These lines also serve as heaters for my fuel line as it aproaches the engine. I use a 5 gallon race car fuel cell for my deisel tank (wich i rarely use because i have a very efective block heater circulation pump). I have also built a pump from a kerosene pump with a filter and heater. This pump makes it possible for me to fill up any fast food restuarant oil dumpster.I have only put about 8000 miles on this car so far but i have not had any problems. This vehicle already had 280,000 deisel miles when i started work.

FYI: Thread moved to Diesel Discussion

My guess is that you live in New Mexico.
Since you posted in ShopForum > General Discussion > Good MB Shops > New Mexico >

Just to be aware, there is some info that suggests copper reacts with the WVO, I use SS heaters in my systems.

Good luck, let us know how it turns out
