Unhappy I sold one of my kids today

It was a bit tough to watch someone else have ownership of my 79 300td ,I was toiling over the loss before the pickup of the car.The proud owners were taking it out for one last drive before their hr trip back home. That was hard

when the roll is called up yonder

good friends, good beer, you will get through this man. You will make it...it will be tough. You will see the pictures and the yearning will come back, but one day you will be able to look back and smile and know she is in a better place..............................

did you give them the web site info? will they post questions on this site... if so, you will keep the car in your mind and know when they have problems...

I know I could never do it, it'd haunt my mind forever, wondering how it was being treated, where it was....how it was doing. Wow...I have problems. I don't care. I'll never sell my car, and probably none of the ones I eventually add to the collection either... If I didn't have a car very long, it had multiple problems, or was totaled, then I would possibly be able to part with it. My '82 300SD will be with me for life.

After daughter found tree with her '87 300E, I had it towed to our driveway where it sat while I decided what to do. Finally I called Bernard (European Connection) and told him to send the rollback and take it to the farm. When daughter came home and saw it gone she was upset. It was her first real car and she misses it to this day. I did get her in an '87 300D so things worked out, but she still misses the old car. I've owned like 38 cars, but it still bothers me to see one go.
